We conduct research and development centered on machine learning and apply them to our services. Our text (comment) analysis system and recommendation engine, which uses log data and contents data, are utilized in Niconico Video and Niconico Live-streaming. We also explore the potential application of machine learning in various fields, such as mahjong AI, browser game AI, voice converter and 2D/3D image rendering, and conduct demonstration experiments.
Ncon
"Ncon" is an online matchmaking service specialized for “otaku” (fans of Japanese pop culture such as anime, manga and games) with a 65% success rate. In the basic Ncon Plan, 2 counselors (male and female) will be appointed to each user for a thorough step-by-step consultation – these include training for matchmaking meetings, creating dating plans and coordinating outfits. Ncon also offers a budget VOD plan where users can get tips & instructions from VTuber counselors. Both plans offer an online chat support via LINE to assist users whenever help is needed.
