Dwango Media Village
We conduct research and development centered on machine learning and apply them to our services. Our text (comment) analysis system and recommendation engine, which uses log data and contents data, are utilized in Niconico Video and Niconico Live-streaming. We also explore the potential application of machine learning in various fields, such as mahjong AI, browser game AI, voice converter and 2D/3D image rendering, and conduct demonstration experiments.
Web Media & Application Development/Operations
We develop media and related services for various web media platforms that are integrated with KADOKAWA Group's extensive range of books, magazines, and informational publications. Additionally, we develop technologies that utilize key performance indicators such as MAU (Monthly Active Users) to predict sales, as well as a unified ID platform. We also provide enterprise system development and operational services within the group, covering sales management, cost management, inventory management, HR, and accounting.
End-User Computing (EUC) Services
To maximize business productivity and enhance the employee experience, we provide a well-balanced ICT infrastructure that ensures both convenience and governance. This includes devices such as PCs and smartphones, as well as various services like Google Workspace and Slack, and account management solutions. Additionally, we offer cybersecurity services, including website vulnerability testing and the formulation of security-related policies and recommendations.
Data Engineering & Consulting Services
We build an environment that enables the effective use of data within the KADOKAWA Group while ensuring privacy protection, creating value for both the company and its customers. We develop and provide a large-scale data platform that consolidates and enables the analysis of data generated from various KADOKAWA Group services. Furthermore, we offer technical consulting to internal marketing and corporate management departments to promote effective data utilization.
Hybrid Cloud Services
We develop and operate a hybrid cloud service that can be used across the entire group. Our services comprehensively cover the essential functions of a cloud provider, including data center facilities, networks, servers, storage, databases, virtual environments (VMs and containers), and web consoles. A key feature of our offering is that we build and operate our own server virtualization environment.

One such service is QRouton, a QR code & shortened URL service that is not only utilized within the KADOKAWA Group but also provided to external companies and organizations.
